Dr. Ege Göktuna started his academic career as a research assistant at Galatasaray University in 1997. During his PhD studies, he received scholarships while conducting his research at University of Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and University of Bologna, Department of Legal Studies.
In 2013, he joined Özyeğin University - Faculty of Law as Assistant Professor in Tax Law where he still teaches Turkish tax law, taxpayers’ rights, International and European taxation in LLB and LLM programmes on a part-time basis. Dr. Göktuna is also the author of the book “Vergi Hukukunda Birleşme Bölünme Hisse Değişimi İşlemleri – Merger, Division, Exchange of Shares Transactions in Tax Law” (İstanbul 2012). His areas of expertise are company taxation and international tax law.
He is a heading the Tax and Trade & Customs practices of Bezen & Partners.
