Serdar Bezen is a Turkish law qualified attorney since 1991. He has worked on major corporate and projects transactions during his employment in the projects group of a 'magic circle' law firm in London. After relocating to Istanbul, he has worked on various matters in a leading Turkish law firm in Istanbul before setting up Bezen & Partners.
He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of Turkish law matters, with a particular focus on corporate, mergers & acquisitions, arbitration and litigation.
He is the author of several articles on the Turkish International Arbitration Law (Law No. 4686), the UNCITRAL Model Law, sports arbitration, and various other subject matters.
He is a listed arbitrator at various arbitral institutions across the globe, including the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Centre for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration (CIICA), Delos Dispute Resolution, Energy Disputes Arbitration Centre (EDAC), Shanghai International Arbitration Centre (Shanghai International Economy and Trade Arbitration Commission/SHIAC), KCAB International, Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), Chambre Arbitrale Internationale de Paris (CAIP), Turkic Arbitration Association (TAA), Commercial Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CAC), Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Libyan Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (LCICA).
