Our partner Yeşim Bezen had the honour of being a speaker at the prestigious 25th Conference of the German International Construction Law Committee, hosted by ARGE Baurecht, the largest professional association of lawyers specialising in construction law in Germany and Europe.
This event brought together legal professionals and technical as well as financial advisors from all around the world, focusing on discussions on seismic risk.
Yeşim Bezen's presentation analysed Türkiye's earthquake legislation and key legal and practical issues, incorporating various examples relating to recent seismic events and touching upon the rebuilding of earthquake struck regions.
